Firm Also Named Illinois Law Firm of the Year for Fifth Consecutive Year
Chicago – Sidley Austin LLP has been named USA Law Firm of the Year in the Who’s Who Legal annual awards. Sidley was also recognized as the leading firm in Illinois, for the fifth year in a row, with more lawyers selected for inclusion than any other firm in the state.

The Who’s Who Legal awards are based on a number of factors, including general feedback received in the ongoing research process, past performance in the research and the overall aggregate number of weighted votes cast in their favor. The winners were formally announced in The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers 2011, a compendium edition of all the individual Who’s Who Legal publications, which is released in June and covers 31 practice areas and over 100 countries. In total, Sidley lawyers were listed 88 times across 23 practice areas in the publication. Sidley’s Chicago-based lawyers are listed in the compendium 45 times across 18 areas of law.
