Sidley Ranks Among the Top Capital Markets Firms in the 2009 Thomson Reuters League Tables
Sidley consistently ranks among the top U.S. capital markets firms in the Thomson Reuters league tables, both by deal value and by number of deals, with strong showings as both issuer and underwriter counsel in major security type categories, including overall debt and equity, straight debt, asset-backed securities, investment grade corporate debt and follow-on stock offerings. In 2009, we ranked in 16 of the 28 categories in the survey by deal value, including:
- Number three underwriter counsel for U.S. debt, equity and equity-related offerings and number 15 issuer counsel
- Number three underwriter counsel for U.S. investment grade corporate debt and number 15 issuer counsel
- Number two underwriter counsel for U.S. straight debt, including asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities and number 13 issuer counsel
- Number three underwriter counsel for U.S. straight debt, excluding asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities and number 13 issuer counsel
