SCOTT BASS heads the firm’s Global Life Sciences Team, coordinating pharmaceutical, medical device, food and dietary supplement matters in the United States, Europe and Asia. He is ranked internationally among the top authorities on FDA-related enforcement and regulatory issues, and has led audits and investigations involving off-label promotion, pharmacovigilance, PDMA, GMP, and fraud and abuse issues, as well as DEA and FTC matters. Mr. Bass served as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Graduate School, as Co-Chair of the ABA Food and Drug Law Committee, Chairman of the N.Y. State Bar Association Section on Food, Drug and Cosmetic Law, as an expert in an EU Commission study, and as an advisor on new China drug and device legislation. Mr. Bass has published many articles and books in the pharmaceutical, enforcement and dietary supplement and functional foods fields.
