BEN KLINGER is a partner in the Corporate Reorganisation and Bankruptcy Group in London. Mr. Klinger’s practice encompasses cross-border and domestic insolvency and corporate re-organisation, recovery and turnaround matters representing debtors, creditors and insolvency practitioners. He also works closely with the Dispute Resolution Group on several matters.

Matters on which Mr Klinger has worked include: Federal-Mogul Corporation and subsidiaries (chapter 11 proceedings in the USA and administration proceedings in England; client, the debtors); Cordiant Group (restructuring; client, potential insolvency officeholders); Sea Containers Ltd (chapter 11 in the USA and provisional liquidation in Bermuda; client, the debtor); Laurel Pub Group (administration; client, the administrators); Lehman Brothers International (Europe) (in administration) (advising numerous counterparty creditors); Perpetual Trustee Company Limited (advising Perpetual).

Mr Klinger has also assisted with the work-out of a distressed lease receivables securitisation (representing a monoline insurer), advised in relation to a distressed PIK Loan (advising the Facility Agent) and assisted with a potential restructuring of a large senior loan to a European wide group of companies (representing a major creditor).
