Brian P. Morrissey


BRIAN P. MORRISSEY, JR. is an associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. His practice involves representing individual and corporate clients in government enforcement actions, complex commercial litigation, and appeals.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Morrissey served as a law clerk to the Honorable Clarence Thomas, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, and to the Honorable Diarmuid F. O’Scannlain, Judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. In between these clerkships, Mr. Morrissey was an associate at another Washington, D.C. law firm, where he practiced white collar and commercial trial litigation. He earned his law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he served as Editor in Chief of the Notre Dame Law Review.

In January 2012, Forbes magazine recognized Mr. Morrissey on its “30 Under 30” list of difference-makers in the fields of “Law and Policy.”
