We appreciate your interest in employment with Sidley. Because of the volume of resumes we receive, we ask that candidates for both legal and staff positions follow the procedures detailed below to assist us in the processing of applications.

Candidates for a summer associate position currently enrolled at a law school where we conduct on-campus interviews should apply through their law school’s career placement office. Candidates enrolled at a law school participating in one of the job fairs we attend should apply through the law school coordinating that job fair. | Summer Associates – 2L and 3L Off Campus Recruiting |
2L and 3L candidates for a summer associate position not enrolled at law schools where we recruit on campus should e-mail both their resume and their law school transcript to the legal recruiting contact in the location where you want to work (see Offices). Such applications are generally considered from August 1 to December 31. If you choose to complete the Voluntary Equal Employment Opportunity Self-identification Survey* you may submit it with your resume or at any other time in the application process. |

We have a limited number of summer associate positions for first year law students. We generally consider applications from December 1 to February 28. Interested candidates should e-mail both their resume and their law school transcript, (transcript may be submitted separately from resume if not yet available) to the legal recruiting contact in the location where you want to work (see Offices). If you choose to complete the Voluntary Equal Employment Opportunity Self-identification Survey* you may submit it with your resume or at any other time in the application process. |
