The New York office has over 463 lawyers, approximately 31% of whom are partners, and the remainder of whom are associates, staff lawyers, and counsel. In addition to our multifaceted corporate transactional practices, the office is home to a strong and diverse litigation practice. Our New York lawyers also practice in a wide variety of technical groups that are at the forefront of their fields.

Our reputation and experience provide us with the opportunity to service both the capital markets and a traditional client base. The New York office is also the gateway to the firm’s significant international practice. We take great pride in developing innovative approaches to transactions and creative solutions to complex problems. Our lawyers have access to challenging and high-quality legal work from our diverse client base, and associates have the opportunity for front-line responsibility early in their careers. In addition, we are firmly committed to the professional development of each lawyer in our office. To assist lawyers in making the transition from law student to lawyer, we give our new associates a broad range of practical, hands-on experience, and we have established extensive formal training programs. We also have a mentor program in which each new associate is paired with a partner to help promote professional growth and development at the firm.
