LINDA CHO is an associate in the New York litigation group. Ms. Cho received a B.A. in Political Science and East Asian Studies from New York University in 2000,
magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004. In law school, she served in the
Journal of International and Economic Law.
Ms. Cho has experience in complex commercial matters, including representing various Korean clients in litigation and investigations involving antitrust, misappropriation of trade secrets, fraud and RICO claims. She is fluent in Korean.
In addition, Ms. Cho has completed a secondment working in-house at the request of a large, global manufacturing client to assist in litigation and regulatory matters.
Ms. Cho is an active member of Sidley’s firm-wide E-Discovery Task Force, a team that analyzes issues and developments in the law regarding electronic discovery. Ms. Cho is a co-author, most recently, of “Getting the Deal Through – Vertical Agreements 2010,” published in Global Competition Review.
Prior to joining Sidley, Ms. Cho was a Law Clerk to the Honorable Richard A. Caputo, United States District Judge, Middle District of Pennsylvania.
