Garrett K. Craig

GARRETT K. CRAIG is of counsel in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He practices in all areas of litigation, with an emphasis on representing accounting firms and corporations in connection with securities fraud litigation, fraud and breach of fiduciary duty litigation, professional liability and negligence actions, breach of contract actions, and various other disputes. He also has represented broker-dealers and investment banks and their employees in disputes with customers, including trying cases in arbitration forums sponsored by the National Association of Securities Dealers. Mr. Craig also represents clients in connection with investigations conducted by the United States Department of Justice and the United States Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement.

Mr. Craig is a co-chair of the Los Angeles office’s Recruiting Committee. He also has handled various pro bono matters, including the successful representation of clients seeking asylum in the United States. Mr. Craig was instrumental in establishing an educational partnership between the firm’s Los Angeles office and Dorsey High School’s Law Magnet Program. Through this partnership, Sidley has facilitated numerous programs designed to augment the Law Magnet’s curriculum with hands-on workshops and field trips that introduce the students to the wide variety of careers within the legal community. Mr. Craig also served as a coach for the Law Magnet’s Mock Trial team.
