Daily Journal named Sara B. Brody and Rollin A. Ransom to its 2024 “Leading Commercial Litigators” list. The annual list recognizes the top 100 lawyers who led major litigation in California and nationally.
The list noted Sara for her extensive experience in defending issuers, officers, directors, underwriters, and venture capital firms in high-stakes securities class actions and derivative actions in state and federal courts across the country. Sara co-leads Sidley’s Securities and Shareholder Litigation practice group and heads the Northern California litigation practice. She regularly represents companies and individuals in matters involving the Securities and Exchange Commission and various self-regulatory organizations. Sara also has extensive experience in conducting internal investigations and counseling clients on disclosure issues.
Rollin was cited as co-leader of Sidley’s global Commercial Litigation and Disputes and Entertainment, Sports and Media practices and is the Managing Partner of the firm’s downtown Los Angeles office. He has a long history of prosecuting and defending lawsuits involving a wide variety of entertainment and intellectual property claims, including copyright and theft of idea, contract, trademark, false advertising, trade secret, and unfair competition actions.
