The Africa-Asia Agricultural Enterprise Pro Bono Program was launched in 2012 by Sidley Austin, to provide free legal support to small and medium sized agricultural-related enterprises and development non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Africa and Asia. The program aims to impact and benefit the small, poor farmers and farm workers, particularly women, who labor at the bottom of the supply chain. Sidley’s holistic approach ensures both tangible and intangible gains to the beneficiaries.

Kakoa    Kakoa

Kakoa is an Indonesian chocolate production and processing company that is socially and ecologically driven. Kakoa not only purchases its cocoa beans from smallholder farmers at a price higher than the market rate, they also provide technical training and advice on ecological conservation and farming. 
     
mPedigree small    mPedigree Network

mPedigree Network is a social enterprise based in Ghana, working towards ending the trade of counterfeit products such as agro-inputs and medicines, in Africa and Asia. They have been saving lives in the developing world by allowing consumers to identify the authenticity of several sensitive products including medicine. 
     
Farmerline    Farmerline

Farmerline is a technology and content provider whose information services have benefitted over 200,000 farmers in Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Malawi and Sierra Leone. They develop contents and digital apps for rural small-scale farmers providing information on weather forecasts, markets prices, financial services and best farming practices.
