CLIFFORD M. GERBER is a tax partner in the San Francisco office. He oversees the firm’s Tax Practice with respect to all state and local bond financings originated by the West Coast Public Finance Practice Group. Mr. Gerber is nationally-recognized in the federal income tax aspects of tax-exempt financing, and is a frequent speaker at tax and municipal bond conferences.

Mr. Gerber is a past Chair of the National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL) Arbitrage Seminar and is a regular member of the faculty of the NABL Tax and Securities Law Institute. Mr. Gerber is also a past member of the Steering Committee for the NABL Bond Attorneys’ Workshop, and was the Editor-in-Chief of Federal Taxation of Municipal Bonds, a multi-volume treatise published by the NABL.
