Jennifer J. Clark

Associate

JENNIFER CLARK is a litigation associate in Sidley’s Washington, D.C. office.

Before joining Sidley, Jennifer served as a law clerk for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the U.S. Supreme Court and Judge David S. Tatel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. Jennifer was also a Bristow Fellow in the Office of the Solicitor General at the U.S. Department of Justice, where she worked on multiple Supreme Court cases and successfully argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Jennifer earned her law degree, summa cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as a notes editor for the Georgetown Law Journal. Before attending law school, Jennifer worked for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in the United States, Switzerland, Bosnia, and along the Kosovo border. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from Cornell University with a bachelor’s degree in French Linguistics. As a Marshall Scholar, she earned a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom.
