Kelly Krellner

Associate

KELLY KRELLNER is an associate in the firm’s San Francisco office and a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice group. Ms. Krellner’s practice focuses on patent infringement litigation in United States District Court.

Ms. Krellner’s experience includes writing briefs and motions, preparing witnesses for deposition, coordinating discovery efforts, communicating effectively with clients and joint defense teams, and researching complex legal and factual issues.

Examples of cases in District Court:

  • EON Corp. IP Holdings, LLC v. T-Mobile USA Inc., et al., No. 6:10-cv-00379-LED-JDL (E.D. Tex. filed Aug. 4, 2010) (Judge Davis): Represented Research In Motion Corp., one of the accused infringers. Patent-in-suit concerned communication networks. Settled in 2012.
  • Intellectual Ventures I LLC v. Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., et al., No. 1:10-cv-1067 (D. Del. Filed Dec. 8, 2010) (Judge Stark): Represented McAfee, Inc., an accused infringer. Patents-in-suit concerned internet security. Settled in 2012.

Ms. Krellner holds a J.D. from University of California, Berkeley Law School. While attending law school Ms. Krellner was an Article Editor on the Berkeley Technology Law Journal and served as a summer judicial intern at the Vermont Supreme Court.

Prior to law school, Ms. Krellner worked as an environmental engineering consultant at CH2M HILL, a global engineering and construction firm. Ms. Krellner holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and a M.S. Eng. from The University of Michigan.
