BENJAMIN B. KELLY is an associate in the Dallas office. His practice focuses on intellectual property law issues, primarily patent litigation.

Mr. Kelly has helped enforce and protect technologies in a broad range of fields such as telecommunications and power electronics, as just two examples. He has actively participated in most phases of patent litigation. That includes first-hand experience taking and defending inventor, corporate representative, and expert depositions; drafting motions for summary judgment and Markman briefs; managing discovery responses and requests; overseeing discovery disputes; and interviewing, hiring, and working with technical expert witnesses to develop expert reports.

During his time at the University of Texas School of Law, Mr. Kelly served as Editor-in-Chief of the Texas Review of Law & Politics. After law school he served as the Publications Chairman for the Federalism & Separation of Powers Practice Group of the Federalist Society and is currently a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.
