KEVIN T. LANTRY joined the firm in 1991 and is a partner in the Bankruptcy and Corporate Reorganization Group. Mr. Lantry has focused his practice primarily on business reorganizations, and has represented debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, official unsecured creditors’ committees, trustees, purchasers of estate assets, and plaintiffs and defendants in adversary proceedings. He has also represented lenders, borrowers and equity holders in out-of-court workouts and global settlements, and has represented secured creditors in real and personal property foreclosure actions.

Mr. Lantry has been involved in bankruptcy proceedings involving a broad range of businesses, including advertising, agriculture, aircraft and airlines, automotive manufacturers and suppliers, boat manufacturers, commercial real property, gaming, healthcare and hospitals, hotels, manufacturing, mining, motion picture and entertainment, oil and gas, power projects, publishing, restaurants, retail, shipping, telecommunications and wholesale. Mr. Lantry has also been involved in cross-border insolvency proceedings, and has significant experience in Chapter 11 proceedings involving asbestos liability. He most recently represented Federal-Mogul Corporation and 156 of its affiliates in their successful plenary Chapter 11 proceedings in the United States and their administration proceedings in the United Kingdom, and currently represents The Flintkote Company and its subsidiary in Chapter 11 proceedings in the United States and ancillary insolvency proceedings in Canada.
