MAYU MIYASHITA is a staff attorney in the Capital Markets practice group in the New York Office. Prior to joining Sidley Austin, Ms. Miyashita represented insurance carriers and their insureds in the defense of a variety of third-party litigation in both trial and appellate courts. She graduated from New England School of Law, where she was the literary editor of the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement and authored Case Comment: City of Boerne v. Flores and Its Impact on Prisoners' Religious Freedom, 25 N.E. J. on Crim. & Civ. Con. 519 (1999).
Ms. Miyashita is fluent in English and Japanese.
