ALAN CHARLES RAUL is a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of the international law firm Sidley Austin LLP. Mr. Raul has a broad litigation and counseling practice that covers government regulation, enforcement and administrative law, corporate compliance, privacy and information law. Mr. Raul focuses his practice on Information Law and Privacy, Government and Internal Investigations and Appellate litigation. Sidley was named one of the leading national “Privacy and Data Security” practices in Chambers USA for 2008, and Mr. Raul was listed in the top tier of Privacy and Data Security practitioners.
Mr. Raul’s information law practice involves federal, state and international privacy issues, including global data protection programs, information security, and representation in connection with data breaches.
