Payment Systems
Sidley represents payment systems, networks and providers on a wide variety of regulatory, litigation and legislative matters. Our experience in this area spans across several lawyers in our group and serves a variety of clients with wide ranging needs. For example, we assist clients with emerging issues in electronic commerce, information privacy and security, anti-money laundering efforts and the operations of the payment systems or networks themselves. We also counsel clients with respect to government investigations, requests for data and other requests for assistance. Sidley also has extensive experience representing payment systems and networks before Congress and regulatory agencies.
