Sarah Losh Bakker
SARAH LOSH BAKKER is a litigation associate in the firm’s Chicago office.
Sarah earned her J.D., with honors, from the University of Chicago Law School, where she won both the Joseph Henry Beale Prize for outstanding written work in her first year legal writing section and the Ann Watson Barber Outstanding Service Award. Prior to joining the firm, Sarah argued a sentencing hearing in federal court, while she was a student member of the University of Chicago Federal Criminal Justice Clinic. Additionally, she served as Executive Editor of the University of Chicago Legal Forum. She is dedicated to pro bono service and completed the University of Chicago Pro Bono Pledge via her service as a volunteer at the Cabrini Green Legal Aid Expungement Help Desk. Sarah earned her B.A. in English and Spanish, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Sarah clerked for Judge John J. Tharp Jr. of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
