DR. JENS RINZE is a partner in the firm’s Frankfurt office. His practice focuses on capital markets and other finance industry related transactions, in particular securitization, real estate related finance, acquisition and asset finance and other forms of structured finance and capital markets instruments (including almost all regulatory aspects thereof) as well as the restructuring and work-out of such transactions.
Since 1997 Dr. Rinze has advised German and international lenders, arrangers, originators, servicers, special servicers, funds and other investors, insurers, trustees and rating agencies with respect to such transactions and instruments.
Apart from analyzing, structuring, setting-up and documenting securitization and other structured finance and capital markets transactions and instruments he focuses in particular on the restructuring, reorganization and work-out of such transactions and on advising financial institutions, servicers, special servicers and investors in the course of cross-border and German insolvencies of issuers and borrowers and relating enforcement and insolvency proceedings.
His practice also covers the regulation (including all privacy aspects) of the finance, insurance, fund and investment industry and reorganization transactions relating thereto.
Dr. Rinze is listed in the Chambers Guide to the World’s Leading Lawyers for Business as one of the leading individuals for Securitization and Structured Finance in Germany. He is a regular speaker at structured finance and securitization conferences and universities. He has authored and co-authored commentaries (Kommentar) on the German Banking Act and a number of articles in German and foreign law journals and text books in the field of structured finance (including distressed debt), banking and regulatory law and international finance in general.
A native speaker of German, he is also fluent in English.
