MAS and SGX Issue Response to Feedback on Joint Consultation on Short Position Reporting Requirements and Other Securities Market Practices
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”) and the Singapore Exchange Limited (“SGX”) have, on August 1, 2014, issued a response to the feedback received on the joint consultation paper entitled “Review of Securities Market Structure and Practices” (the “Consultation Paper”) issued earlier in February 2014.
We discussed the Consultation Paper in our earlier briefing dated March 17, 2014, which can be found here. In this briefing we set out a summary of the responses provided by the MAS and SGX.
