Crain’s Custom Media has named Beth M. Quintana to their 2018 list of Chicago’s Notable Women Lawyers. This list recognizes Chicago-area women lawyers for their exemplary legal skills and for their efforts to positively influence their community. Beth will be recognized in the July 30 edition of Crain’s Chicago Business.
Beth is a partner in Sidley’s Investment Funds practice group and has significant experience working with funds operating and raising capital across different geographies, as well as funds focused on making investments in specific industries such as real assets, food and agriculture, financial services and manufacturing. She also represents institutional investors and fund of funds clients in connection with their investments in leading private investment funds, co-investments and acquisitions of interests in fund sponsors and otherwise.
Beth is passionate about the enrichment of the firm and the careers of women lawyers. She not only serves as a mentor and advocate for women lawyers at the firm, but is active in Sidley’s diversity and inclusion recruiting efforts. A leader in the Chicago community, Beth serves on the board of directors for the Women’s Bar Foundation of Illinois, which has awarded over US$1 million to women pursuing law degrees in Illinois.
“Beth is an important member of the firm’s private equity fund formation practice,” said Bill Kerr, leader of Sidley’s global Investment Funds practice group and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. “She is truly deserving of this honor, which recognizes both her outstanding legal skills and her commitment to the firm and broader community.”
