The Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ) profiled partner Lisa Gilford in its “L.A. 500” list.
The profile noted her arrival at Sidley earlier this year, praising her as “one of California’s leading civil litigators.” It cited her experience handling complex civil litigation including class action cases, multidistrict litigation, product liability cases and large-scale commercial disputes. LABJ highlighted the breadth of her practice, having served as lead counsel in matters in the automotive, pharmaceutical, communications, oil and gas, aerospace and chemical manufacturing, sports and higher-education industries.
The profile also found Lisa’s many leadership positions and memberships to be “worth noting.” Lisa is a board member of the California Women’s Law Center and the Music Center and a former president of the National Association of Women Lawyers. She is a member of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, Women’s Rainmaker Roundtable, the Black Women Lawyers Association, the Langston Bar Association and the National Bar Association.
