Sidley partner Lei Li was named one of Asian Legal Business’ “China Client Choice Lawyers” for the second consecutive year. The award recognizes “outstanding lawyers who have established the strongest client connections” in China. His selection was based on nominations from in-house legal counsel and executives, as well as from business consultants at non-legal enterprises.
The managing partner of Sidley’s Beijing and Shanghai offices, Lei Li advises clients on a range of regulatory, compliance and enforcement matters in China, with a particular focus on the life sciences sector.
He has extensive experience in all types of anti-corruption, government investigation and compliance matters across China, where he represents both multinational companies in China and local Chinese companies. He also routinely advises companies in FCPA/anti-corruption audits and investigations, M&A due diligence reviews, and in developing internal control and compliance programs for their business operations.
