Sidley is proud to announce that partner Pran Jha and chief information officer Vincent A. Marin were honored as 2019 “Business Leaders of Color” and profiled in Chicago United’s eighth Business Leaders of Color (BLC) publication. Chicago United is a corporate membership and advocacy organization which aims to achieve parity in economic opportunity for people of color. Its biennial BLC publication showcases innovative, global thinkers who, while achieving personal success, have contributed to the cultural, civic and educational life of the Chicago region. Both were recognized for helping dispel the myth that there is a paucity of “qualified, dynamic, visionary and talented” executives of color.
Pran is a partner in Sidley’s Corporate practice group, with more than 25 years of experience representing clients in a variety of transactional matters, including public and private M&A transactions, capital markets transactions, spinoffs, joint ventures and corporate governance matters.
Vince has a broad set of responsibilities in the firm related to information technology and other core business functions – Litigation and Practice Support, Records Management and Docket. Working with the firm’s other business leaders and partners, Vince has led the development and implementation of solutions that allow Sidley lawyers and staff to leverage technology in their work and to better connect with Sidley’s clients and each other.
