Holly Gregory and Tom Kim have been named to the 2020 NACD 100™ Governance Professionals.

The 2020 NACD Directorship 100™ is an annual recognition of the leading corporate directors, corporate governance experts, policymakers, and influencers who significantly impact boardroom practices and performance.
Holly Gregory serves as co-chair of Sidley’s global Corporate Governance and Executive Compensation practice and is president of the American College of Governance Counsel. She is former chair of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Corporate Governance Committee and former co-chair of the ABA’s Delaware Law and Business Forum. She served as an appointed member of the Corporate Laws Committee where she was co-editor of the Corporate Director’s Guidebook (Sixth Edition). She chaired the ABA task force that delivered the Report on the Delineation of Governance Roles & Responsibilities to Congress and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 2009. Holly serves on the ABA Business Law Section Council, is a founding trustee of the American College of Governance Counsel, and is a member of The American Law Institute. She has served as an adjunct professor at Columbia Business School and as a member of multiple NACD Blue Ribbon Commissions.
Tom Kim has been a partner at Sidley since 2013 and advises public companies, their boards of directors, and underwriters on a broad range of SEC disclosure and regulatory matters, capital market and tender offer transactions, and corporate governance and compliance issues and practices. He also advises audit firms on independence and financial reporting issues. He was the chief counsel and associate director of the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance from 2007 to 2013. As a member of the ABA’s Committee on Corporate Laws, he co-edited the ABA’s Corporate Director’s Guidebook (Fifth edition 2007). He is the chair of the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law’s Securities Regulation Institute. He is also the chair of the ABA Subcommittee on Securities Law Opinions.
