D CEO named Yvette Ostolaza to its 2020 “Dallas 500” supplement, recognizing her as one of the leaders who drive the Texas economy and make it a vibrant place to work and live. She has been named to the list every year since 2015. The annual special edition celebrates trailblazers across a wide spectrum of industries, selecting them based on interviews with business and community leaders in the regional business community.
Yvette is a member of Sidley’s Management and Executive Committees, the managing partner of the Dallas office, global co-leader of the Litigation practice, and a member of the firm’s COVID-19 Task Force. In addition, she is on the Board of Directors of Lionsgate.
She has developed a national reputation as a versatile trial lawyer who excels in all aspects of complex multijurisdictional disputes and investigations. Yvette regular represents Boards of Directors and Board Committees in addressing government investigations, shareholder lawsuits, and governance matters. She has extensive experience in the retail, energy, and insurance industries. A native Spanish speaker, she represents companies based in Latin America on U.S. matters.
Yvette is also actively engaged in pro bono service and philanthropic organizations. She works with Disability Rights Texas, representing a putative class of intellectually disabled residents of nursing facilities in their quest to obtain access to community-based facilities. She currently serves on the AT&T Performing Arts Board.
