Los Angeles Business Journal profiled partner Lisa Gilford in its 2021 “L.A. 500” list, which celebrated the most influential leaders and impactful executives in Los Angeles for their innovation and agility in the face of unprecedented challenges over the past year. Notably, Lisa has been named to the list three out of the six years it has been published.
The publication cited Lisa’s ongoing representation of Honda in multidistrict litigation following the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s announcement of an expanded investigation into airbags made by manufacturing company ZF-TRW. Lisa was further noted for serving as lead class-action counsel for Toyota, defending an array of unintended acceleration class-action and personal injury actions that included dismissal decisions in 14 countries. Los Angeles Business Journal also highlighted her inclusion in its recent “Minority Leaders of Influence” list as well as her recognition by The Daily Journal as one of the “Top 100 Lawyers in California.”
