Fatema Orjela Named Woman Solicitor of the Year at The Law Society Awards 2021

Sidley partner Fatema Orjela has been named Woman Solicitor of the Year at The Law Society Awards 2021. This award recognizes both her professional excellence in the field of private equity and her dedication to supporting and championing women in the workplace.

Fatema is London Chair of the firm’s global Committee for the Retention and Promotion of Women (CRPW) and a key member of the global Committee for Assignment and Compensation of Associates (CACA). Improving equality, diversity, inclusion and access have been central objectives for her since she qualified.
