Lakeisha Mays, a managing associate in Sidley’s Washington, D.C. office, has been named to Lawyers of Color’s 2022 “Hot List.” The annual publication spotlights junior- and mid-level lawyers for their stellar career accomplishments and their commitment to advancing diversity. Lawyers of Color is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of diversity in the legal profession and advancing equality in marginalized communities.
The “Hot List” profiled Lakeisha, commending her for serving as a law clerk for the Honorable Consuelo B. Marshall of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and for the Honorable Phyllis D. Thompson of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
At Sidley, Lakeisha represents clients in appellate and enforcement matters. Lakeisha also has experience working on government investigations, including Second Requests issued by the Federal Trade Commission.
