Sidley advised certain investment funds affiliated with Apollo Global Management, LLC (Apollo) on the acquisition of a majority stake in Catalina Holdings (Bermuda) Ltd (Catalina), the run-off insurance specialist, from Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan and Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec (CDPQ).
Sidley also represented Apollo in connection with the raising of an additional US$700 million in new equity capital to fund Catalina’s continued growth.
