Sidley represented affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc. in its placement of US$600 million of perpetual preferred stock and warrants in Expedia Group, Inc. Affiliates of Silver Lake purchased US$600 million of the same in this transaction. Expedia is a global online travel company. Apollo Global Management is one of the largest global alternative asset managers with US$331 billion under management as of December 31, 2019.
