Sidley Represents Beacon in Sale to American Securities

Sidley is representing Beacon in the sale of its interior products business to affiliates of American Securities LLC, a U.S. private equity firm, for US$850 million cash. Beacon’s interior products business consists of 81 branch locations, where it distributes construction products including wallboard, acoustical ceilings, steel framing, and insulation to both residential and commercial contractors.

The Sidley team was co-led by Jeffrey Smith and Scott Williams, and included Jack Melamed, Brett Valentyn, Emily Olivera, Ben Rosemergy, P.C.
