Sidley is representing Invenergy Renewables LLC, the largest private developer, owner, and operator of wind and solar projects in North America, in connection with a US$1 billion investment by global institutional investor Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ). The commitment, in the form of new investment facilities, represents another step in CDPQ’s nearly eight-year partnership with Invenergy. Invenergy has extensive experience in the various segments of the industry’s value chain, including in the development, construction, operations, and maintenance of renewable energy projects.
The Sidley team was led by partners Tara Higgins and Adam Snyder. The team included partners Suresh Advani and Lauren Gallagher, and associates Christopher Hutchison, David Kuwabara, Leigh Rorick, Miriam Carroll Silvestri, and P.C. Wang.
