Sidley is representing United Airlines as the airline fights against climate change by pledging to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 100% by 2050. To accomplish this goal, United has announced that it intends to make a multimillion-dollar investment in 1PointFive, Inc., a partnership between Oxy Low Carbon Ventures, a subsidiary of Occidental (NYSE:OXY), and Rusheen Capital Management.
The Sidley team includes partners Kevin Lewis and Heather Palmer and counsel Averill Conn in Houston, counsel Sandi Knox in Palo Alto, and associate Samina Bharmal in Washington, D.C.
