Sidley has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s Trade Law Panel framework (RM6183), established to advise the UK in international trade and investment disputes, and negotiations with other governments on international trade and investment matters.
Sidley’s appointment covers both Lot 1: International Trade and Disputes and Lot 2: International Trade and Negotiations.
The framework, which will run for four years, has been established following a competitive tender process.
Key areas of service include:
- compliance with international trade agreements, including under the auspices of the World Trade Organization (WTO);
- advice and services relating to the negotiation and implementation of international trade and investment agreements; and
- the conduct of international trade and investment disputes under the dispute settlement mechanisms of the WTO and other trade agreements.
