Sidley Represents iCON Infrastructure in Partnership with Railroad Development Corporation in Iowa Interstate Railroad

Sidley is representing iCON Infrastructure, through its iCON Infrastructure Partners V (iCON V) fund, in entering into a strategic partnership alongside Railroad Development Corporation (RDC) of Pittsburgh, PA, in Iowa Interstate Railroad (IAIS). iCON will acquire a 40% equity interest in RDC, the majority owner of IAIS, a regional freight railroad operating in the agro-industrial heartland of the U.S. Its main line runs between Chicago and Omaha, with a branch line to Peoria, connecting with each of North America's seven Class I railroads, a number of short line railroads, and the Mississippi and Illinois river systems.

The Sidley team was led by senior counsel Terry Hynes, partner Asi Kirmayer, and associate Chris Folmsbee, with support from associates David Zhao and Justin Lim.
