Sidley Represents Texas Pacific Land in Reorganization

Sidley advised Texas Pacific Land Trust (NYSE:TPL) on its reorganization into Texas Pacific Land Corporation (NYSE:TPL), a Delaware corporation, completed on January 11, 2021. The corporation, whose market capitalization was US$6.2 billion prior to market opening on January 11, is one of the largest landowners in Texas, and its surface and royalty ownership allow revenue generation through the entire value chain of oil and gas development.
