New Venture “IMAX AI” to Deliver Next-Generation AI-Based Ultra-High Definition 4K Video Enhancement Across Streaming Services and Smart Devices
A team of Sidley lawyers advised IMAX Corporation (NYSE: IMAX) in a joint venture with Maximus, a next-generation visual effects company founded by AI entrepreneur Dr. Daniel Nadler, to deliver AI-based high-resolution video enhancement technologies across home entertainment, including solutions for streaming services and smart devices. The new joint venture, IMAX AI, will advance AI-based solutions for Ultra-High Definition (UHD) 4K enhancement across smart devices, new and library content, as well as real-time enhancement of live entertainment and sports.
