ZARINE ALAM is a senior managing associate in the Litigation group of the firm’s San Francisco office. Zarine’s practice focuses on representing public companies and boards of directors in federal securities class actions, shareholder derivative suits and proceedings before the Securities and Exchange Commission. Zarine also maintains an active pro bono practice, including the firm’s Capital Litigation Project and Political Asylum and Immigrants’ Rights Project.
Zarine received her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law. While in law school, she served as Executive Editor of the Northwestern University Law Review and was a certified mediator with the Center for Conflict Resolution. She also worked in the Bluhm Legal Clinic’s Environmental Advocacy Center. Zarine received her B.A. in Classics (with high honors) and English from Bowdoin College.
