
Biography
PHILIPP BARLET advises on all aspects of German business and corporate law. In particular, he advises on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate restructurings, management participation programs, and general corporate matters. His clients include national and international private equity funds, asset managers, and strategic investors.
During his studies and legal clerkship, Philipp was placed, inter alia, with international and German law firms in Frankfurt and Karlsruhe as well as the German Embassy in Ottawa, Canada. He received legal training in Germany and Norway.

- Siemens Energy in their strategic equity investment in Marvel Fusion GmbH.
- Rivean Capital on the acquisition of Perbility GmbH.
- Z Capital Partners portfolio company Techniks Tool Group in its acquisition of The Eppinger Group.
- Crown Bioscience in its acquisition of the IndivuServ business unit of Indivumed GmbH.
- Bain Capital Insurance on its joint venture with Canada Life Irish Holding Company Limited, an insurance and financial services company, and JDC Group, a financial services provider.

Community Involvement
Pro Bono
During his studies, Philipp has co-founded the non-profit law clinic Start Right e.V. and was chairman of the board. The law clinic advises non-profit organizations free of charge on a wide range of legal issues, in particular on corporate law.
