JAY BISHOP-BOROS is an associate in the firm’s Corporate group. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and corporate governance matters. Jay represents buyers and sellers in public and private mergers, acquisitions and dispositions across a wide range of industries. He also advises publicly traded and private companies on a broad range of corporate law matters, including corporate governance practices and federal securities law matters.
Prior to joining Sidley, Jay was an associate in the mergers and acquisitions group of an international law firm in New York. Jay received his J.D. from the University of California Berkeley School of Law, where he was a supervising editor of the California Law Review. Jay earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from New York University.
