HARVEY CHAU focuses his practice on complex cross-border investigations and regulatory compliance. He has conducted investigations in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East arising from alleged bribery and corruption, fraud, and other senior management misconduct, as well as supply chain and conflict of interest concerns. He also advises clients on compliance and transactional due diligence matters, covering anti-bribery, data privacy, cybersecurity, sanctions, and other regulatory issues. Harvey has worked with clients across a range of sectors, including those in life sciences, technology, and manufacturing.
Before joining Sidley, Harvey interned at the Appellate Body Secretariat of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and worked at a leading Chinese law firm where he focused on international dispute settlement and consumer products matters.
Harvey is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
