• Represented an oilfield services company in an internal investigation into alleged FCPA violations
• Represented a financial insurance company in a complex contractual dispute over tax credit generating funds with a potential recovery of over $90 million
• Represented the audit committee of an energy infrastructure contractor in an independent investigation into the firm’s accounting practices
• Represented a large Mexican mining corporation in a 28 U.S.C. § 1782 proceeding to obtain discovery in the United States in connection with ongoing litigation in Mexico
• Represented two foreign telecommunications companies in a lawsuit in U.S. District Court for fraud and invasion of privacy that was successfully dismissed for lack of personal jurisdiction
• Represented a large financial institution in its capacity as trustee in a mortgage-backed security class action
• Represented a financial institution’s board of directors in the independent investigation of alleged FCPA violations
• Represented a large financial institution in the FINRA investigation of its anti-money laundering controls
