ERIN FELCHNER is the head of the firm’s Chicago Real Estate practice. Erin represents commercial banks, investment banks, and institutional investors in complex financings of commercial real estate. She also represents borrowers, purchasers, and sellers in financings, workouts, acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing of real property.

- Representation of multinational banks and institutional investors in the syndication, participation, assignment and acquisition of commercial mortgage and mezzanine loans
- Representation of multinational banks in connection with CMBS financings, including the financing of top-10 securitization assets and single-asset securitizations, and construction and renovation loans for hotel, office, multi-family, retail, and life sciences properties
- Representation of lenders and borrowers in complex capital structures, including multi-property financings and mortgage loans with multiple levels of mezzanine financing

- Buyer representation of a university in connection with the acquisition of a former hospital building
- Seller representation of a university in the development of a research science facility and the sale of research laboratory space in the facility, including drafting and negotiating joint-use agreements
- Seller representation in connection with the disposition of seven skilled care facilities with Seller mezzanine financing
- Seller and Buyer representation in connection with the disposition and acquisition of senior housing facilities
- Buyer representation of a university in connection with the acquisition of a former hospital building
- Buyer representation of a national utility company in connection with the acquisition of a headquarters facility
