SARAH GOLDSTEIN is a staff attorney in the firm’s New York office and practices in the Food, Drug and Medical Device Regulatory group. Sarah advises clients on a variety of matters within the food and dietary supplement space, including labeling and promotion, product formulation and positioning, ingredient safety, claim substantiation and compliance with the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). She also supports clients that are regulated by the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service and advises them on inspection-related issues, including eligibility for exemption from inspection, and provides guidance to food service and meal kit delivery companies on their obligations under FDA and USDA law. In addition, she counsels clients on regulatory compliance for OTC drugs, including monograph and OTC switch products. Sarah works collaboratively with Sidley’s corporate and litigation teams when regulatory expertise is needed, and she regularly supports corporate due diligence for transactions involving FDA-regulated products.
Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Food Studies from New York University.
