CHRISTIAN GROBECKER focuses his practice on various aspects of EU competition law, including abuse of dominance, multi-jurisdictional cartel investigations and leniency applications, state aid and merger control.
In addition to his antitrust work, Christian advises on the EU legislative process and regulatory matters in the area of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, food products and other consumer products. He has particular experience in matters involving the Dutch regulatory authorities.
Prior to joining Sidley, Christian gained valuable experience in law firms in the Netherlands. He has participated in several moot court competitions and has taught courses on pleading to bachelor students at Leiden University.
