ALEXANDER (ALEX) HAER is an associate in Sidley’s office in Houston.
Alex earned his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, where he graduated with honors. While in law school, Alex was an associate editor of the Texas Law Review and earned the Dean’s Achievement Award in Texas Administrative Law. He also interned for U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeffrey C. Manske at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas and for the Texas First and Fourteenth Courts of Appeals.
Alex attended Rice University, where he obtained a B.A. in Political Science and in Religious Studies and was recognized on the president’s honor roll list. He previously received a Rice Humanities Center grant to develop infrastructure in the Peruvian Amazon for six weeks. He has also served with AmeriCorps VISTA, where his focus was economic mobility.
