ANGELA HAGERMAN is a managing associate in the Sidley’s office in Houston. Her practice centers on representing institutional lenders, alternative capital providers, private equity sponsors, hedge funds and commercial borrowers, including public companies, in a variety of domestic and cross-border financing transactions. Angela has extensive experience in secured and unsecured lending transactions, acquisition financings, private debt, mezzanine and second lien financings, fund financings including subscription line facilities, net asset value facilities and management fee secured facilities, debt restructuring and notes offerings. Angela also counsels clients on debt compliance, liability management, and strategic corporate and fund formation.
Prior to joining Sidley, Angela was an associate at a premier international law firm where she counseled clients in a variety of complex financing matters. Angela obtained her J.D. at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she also holds a B.A. in English Literature. Angela graduated from Wake Forest University with an M.A. in English Literature and is a published author with her Master’s thesis.
